There is a very lovely small ‘town house’ in a very smart and luxuriously appointed street. All is beautiful in the house with stunning white and steel kitchen and utility all tiled in glossy tiles from floor to ceiling. More cabinets than you can shake a cat at line the walls of this working space. Then moving over into the sun room which has cleverley been transformed into a slick dining room with shaded glass all the way round for comfort and double doors leading out to the garden . . . . .
Then we get to that garden. What a disappointment. Lacklustre tired old teak loungers that have been out there since the year dot. A lop-sided parasol propped up drunkenly in the middle of the old plastic table and a scattering of oddly mismatched chairs. This needs upgrading without doubt – browse online for the latest in swish garden and outdoor furniture schemes for that streamlined look that the neighbourhood deserves.
